Founder & President of Alhassan Foundation for the differently abled Inclusion. After her 18 years old son's accident - Alhassan - in 2011 when he became wheelchair bound, May had a complete career shift from corporate work to social enterpreneurship, mainly supporting "The Differently Abled" through Alhassan Foundation which she established with family and friends since 2012. In 2013 she was the first to utilize the slogan (We Are Differently Abled) to describe people with disabilities in Egypt and made it an official registered slogan for AlHassan Foundation. In 2019 this slogan has been applied in Egypt by the media and the Egyptian government. She represented Egypt through Alhassan Foundation in the United Nations Head Office in Vienna where they were chosen as one of the most effective foundations worldwide. In 2021 she recieved the "Champion of Change" award fro outstanding achievement and contribution in building stronger Egypt.
